Battistella Company's focus on protecting its workers and the environment led to the procurement of an integrated manufacturing process management system to safeguard the environment and human heath and safety, in the workplace and for end users.
Getting UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI ISO 45001 certifications for the integrated system is the response to Battistella Company's focus on maintaining the best conditions for company employees or contractors and constant evaluation of the direct or indirect environmental impact of all operations.

FSC® CERTIFICATION
With a focus on constantly improving sustainable development and protecting our environmental heritage, the company decided to use FSC® certified material for its wood and wood derivative based products, sourced from forests managed according to the environmental, social and economic principles set out by the Forest Stewardship Council®. Organic water-based paint
To reduce its environmental impact and make furniture and accessories safe for humans, Battistella Company has opted to use environmentally friendly materials. It was one of the first companies to use water-based paints in 2002 and is now poised to introduce an even more sustainable process.
In 2023 the company completed its transition to organic water-based paints, resulting in a considerable reduction in CO2 emissions.
Organic paints comply with the most recent green policies adopted around the world. They have exceptionally low environmental impact yet guarantee excellent performance. These paints excel in durability and chemical and light resistance.

Ecological panels
The panels used in the furniture are produced from 100% reclaimed wood and are non toxic, in full compliance with the European Class E1 standard.

At the end of 2024, Battistella Company presented its first sustainability report, an essential tool for demonstrating its ongoing commitment to a more sustainable future and to creating value for all stakeholders. Sustainability reporting is an opportunity to disclose economic, social and environmental performance in a transparent way, taking into account not just profit but the impact it has on people and the environment.
